- His & Her Gift_Chair goes global!

- Started my one year full time work placement for eg technology as a student design engineer.
June 2008
- Enterered my His & Her Gift_Chair into this years EPS Design Competition, hosted by the EPS Packaging Group. See link for more details.
- Offered a one year full-time Industrial Placement with 'eg technology', a product design/engineering consultancy based in Cambridge. Projects including Medical Devices, Bioscience Instrumentation and Food & Drinks industry.
May 2008
- Winners of the Reef One Design Challenge. Each of the group members won a Reef One - Baby biOrb plus £50. Nice one lads!
April 2008
- University of Derby - Design Week Challenge. This years group challenge is sponsored by Bosch Lawn and Garden Equipment. We got into groups and were set the task of designing and modeling a handheld, Lithium-Ion powered garden product in just three days.
March 2008
- Approached by channel five television programme 'The Gadget Show', to work alongside Jason Bradbury in the 'Gadget Show Design Challenge'. I was asked to design and build prototypes and a working model of a USB badge, designed for children.
February 2008
- Derby Product Design students Rod Gritten, Ashley Parker and Stuart Winkless took the initiative this week and visited Matthew Stevenson of Reef One at his head office in Norwich.

- Sir Richard Branson opens new Arts, Design & Technology Building at the University of Derby in style!
