Product Design Principles - year 1

Design Project - 'alarm clock radio'

The Brief

You are to develop a new exterior design for a bedside travel clock/radio. You should identify a particular market segment and produce a user profile, using this as the basis for the desin process. The resulting design should be demonstrably appropriate to your chosen market and presented in both two and three dimensional formats. Your design should use existing technologies and you will be expected to understand the basic requirements, in terms of space and environmental conditions associated with the internal components.

Deliverables

A full sized presentation model, representing the shape, colour and surface finish of the intended design.
