EPS Design Competition
Introduction
This assignment is based on the EPS Design Competition which offeres the winner an opportunity to display their work at the 100% Futures 2008 exhibition. The winning design will be professionally prototyped for the show. This is an excellent opportunity to get your work recognised by an international design audience.
The Brief
In line with the competition you are to design a chair that is suitable for production as an expanded polystyrene (EPS) moulding.
Submission Requirements
An A1 poster showing the design solution in it's intended environment with indication of scale. The poster should communicate all relevant aspects of the design, including details that differentiate it from current products.
A full sized prototype executed in blue styrofoam.
